A Member of the firm since 1988, Mr. McMenamy is a highly experienced civil trial lawyer capably applying that experience to a broad array of matters. Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, his foremost practice areas are personal injury, tort, and commercial litigation.

Mr. McMenamy’s personal injury practice usually involves impairments alleged to have been caused by negligence, medical, or other professional malpractice, occupational exposure, product defect or workplace accident.  He has recovered millions for his clients.

In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. McMenamy represents corporations and individual litigants, either as plaintiffs or defendants in the courtroom.  His commercial litigation cases range from construction law to distribution rights, and the enforcement of non-disclosure or non-competition agreements.

For almost 20 years, Mr. McMenamy served as counsel for a local zoning board of adjustment and as a member of the zoning board of adjustment in the town where he resided for five years.  He has expertise in land use matters and has represented developers and objectors before municipal boards, and in related land use and prerogative writ litigation.

During law school, Mr. McMenamy served as Editor of the Rutgers Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, he clerked for the Honorable Herman D. Michels, Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
