Mr. Ellis ably concentrates his practice in the firm’s Securities Litigation and Regulatory group. He advocates on behalf of securities industry professionals in arbitrations before FINRA Dispute Resolution, Inc. He also represents individual contenders and organizations in matters before state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York.

A graduate of Rutgers Law School, Camden, Mr. Ellis was an editor for the Rutgers Law Journal and was twice elected to represent his class in the Student Bar Association. Named a Marshall-Brennan Fellow, he taught a semester of Constitutional Law to high school students in the City of Camden. He is an alumnus of the summer associate program at Bressler, Amery & Ross.

In 2005, Mr. Ellis helped the American Indian Housing Initiative to design and build a LEED-certified Early Childhood Development Center on the Northern Cheyenne reservation in Lame Deer, Montana. He had previously gained experience in the construction industry through his work for a national construction newspaper, where he was in daily contact with those concerned with ongoing and future construction projects and bids.

An honors graduate with high distinction from Pennsylvania State University’s Schreyer Honors College, Mr. Ellis double-majored in Sociology and Crime, Law and Justice, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He also served as a dialogue group facilitator in race relations and as a teaching and research assistant.
