Mr. Cannon is a litigation attorney practicing in the firm’s Professional Liability, Commercial Litigation, and Insurance Litigation practice groups. He is involved in all aspects of defending licensed professionals in malpractice lawsuits. He litigates commercial, personal injury, and insurance coverage cases throughout New Jersey. Mr. Cannon approaches his litigation practice not only with legal acumen, but also a strong sense of loyalty and service to his clients.
An alumnus of the Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. summer associate program, Mr. Cannon joined the firm upon receiving his LL.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law. At Villanova, he worked on immigration and asylum cases in the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services. He represented indigent asylum-seekers before the United States Immigration Court, including several high-profile refugees from Iraq, following the U.S.-led invasion and subsequent insurgency.
Beyond his dedication to litigation practice, Mr. Cannon continues to devote time to the virtues of community service that he learned as a graduate of two Catholic institutions—the University of Notre Dame and Villanova University. He is an active member of Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C.’s Sunshine Committee, which undertakes the firm’s community outreach and service activities. He is a sworn member of The Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #2030. He also serves as an elected Councilman in his hometown of Aberdeen, New Jersey, where he is on the Board of Trustees of the Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library.
