Ronald “Ron” Campione’s practice focuses on representing business clients in a variety of areas of law.  Ron’s approach is to always do the right thing for the firm’s clients.  Clients rely on his advice and experience in handling complex litigation and transactional matters involving business law, franchises, employment, construction, trademark, copyright and deceptive practices.  Ron has represented clients in a variety of matters, including mass and class actions, and has achieved excellent results.

Since his bar admission, Ron has gained excellent courtroom experience in state and federal courts throughout the United States.  He has also participated in numerous arbitration and mediation proceedings and administrative actions, as well as appeared before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

In addition to his busy civilian practice, Ron serves as a United States Marine in the Marine Corps Forces Reserve.  As a Marine, Ron serves as an assistant Staff Judge Advocate for one of the United States’ Combatant Commands.  Ron is also the supervising attorney for the firm’s involvement with the American Bar Association’s Veterans Pro Bono Program.  This program assists active service members and veterans with legal issues. 

  • Successfully defended a software manufacturer in an infringement case before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court
  • Represented an international product distributor in a matter alleging trademark infringement
  • Defended dozens of businesses in the largest automobile dealer class action filed in New Jersey, alleging violations of New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, and successfully obtained dismissal for several clients
  • Defended businesses in consumer class action obtaining partial dismissal of the Complaint
  • Successfully barred an expert witness from testifying in a products liability matter resulting in an entry of summary judgment for an international manufacturer of materials handling equipment

  • M2 Software, Inc. v. M2 Communications, Inc., 450 F.3d 1378 (Fed. Cir.) (affirming TTAB decision finding no likelihood of confusion between Trademarks under the DuPont factors focusing on different channels of trade of registrants) cert. denied 127 S.Ct. 1363 (2006)
  • Bosland v. Warnock Dodge, et al., 197 N.J. 543 (2009)(affirming dismissal of unjust enrichment claim against defendants but finding that CFA claim could proceed without prior demand of a consumer for refund)
