Dan is an associate in the firm’s Securities group. His practice is primarily committed to representing broker-dealers and registered representatives in securities litigation and securities arbitration, including customer-initiated complaints with self-regulatory organizations such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). He also regularly assists on cases in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights and Commercial Litigation practice groups.
Prior to joining Bressler, Dan clerked on both the state and federal level. Most recently, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Rosemary Gambardella in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to that, Dan clerked for the Honorable Maureen Sogluizzo, P.J.F.P. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage.
Dan earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law - Newark where he received the Allan Axelrod Prize for Excellence in Commercial Law and served as Notes Editor for the Rutgers Law Record. While at Rutgers, Dan interned with FINRA in the Enforcement Division and the United States Department of Justice in the Antitrust Division. He earned his B.B.A. from Pace University with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics.
Prior to law school Dan was employed within the financial sector. He was a former licensed registered representative of FINRA and held positions with several financial services firms including Ameriprise Financial, Inc., Standard and Poor’s LLC, and National Securities Corp.
