Benjamin Weisfelner is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Business groups.  He advises clients on all areas of commercial, corporate, and real estate law.  His experience includes representing institutional lenders in all areas of commercial loans, such as health care, multi-family, and industrial, and commercial projects.  Transactions range from the development, leasing, sale and acquisition of all types of commercial properties, including hotels and mixed-use projects, to loan workouts, restructures and foreclosures.  In real estate litigation, his representation includes issues of lien priority, work out, foreclosure matters, and complex breach of contract actions.

On corporate matters, Benjamin represents and advises businesses in all aspects of corporate work, including acquisitions, sales, corporate structuring, and the preparation of corporate documentation.  He represents commercial enterprises in litigation on shareholder disputes, corporate deadlock, forced dissolution, contract disputes, and employment issues. 

­An alumnus of Bressler's summer associate program, Benjamin joined the firm upon receiving his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.  While at Seton Hall, he was Comments Editor of the Seton Hall Journal of Sports and Entertainment and judicial intern for the Honorable Donald H. Steckroth, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey.  He also served as research assistant for Seton Hall Law Professor Timothy P. Glynn, examining complex employment law questions, including the impact of inter-jurisdictional competition on various corporate stakeholder groups. In his third year, he tutored second-year law students in federal income taxation.
