Paul S. Vicary is an associate in Bressler's Insurance Litigation group in Florida. His civil litigation focuses on first-party insurance defense and pre-litigation investigations and evaluations.Prior to joining the firm, Paul worked at two major litigation firms also focusing on first party insurance defense, representing a variety of clients.
For over five years, Paul owned and operated his own firm, engaging in commercial litigation, criminal defense, real estate litigation, served as in-house counsel for several small businesses, and served as counsel for a land developer in all areas requested (including landlord/tenant, business litigation, etc.).
During law school at the University of Florida, Paul was chosen as Student of the Year, but was also active outside the classroom, participating in the state attorney clinic program, winning several trials. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Journal of International Law for two years, while also serving as a research editor with the Florida Law Review. He and his co-counsel were the winning team in the Florida state-wide Chester Bedell Mock Trial competition.
Before law school, Paul obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Paul is fluent in Spanish and has often conducted mediations in Spanish where the parties and their counsel were Spanish-speakers.
