Sara Ward Mazzolla is a litigator with a broad spectrum of experience in personal injury practice, insurance, and commercial litigation. Sara represents world-class athletes, and defends clients in the retail, health services and trucking industries. Sara is focused on developing individualized strategies to suit her clients goals through a collaborative process. Sara is licensed in the States of New York and New Jersey, including the District Court of New Jersey.

Sara received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She interned for Honorable Edwin H. Stern, formerly on temporary assignment with the New Jersey Supreme Court, where she drafted memoranda to Judge Stern and Justice Long on petitions for certification to the New Jersey Supreme Court.

During law school, she was a member of the Center for Social Justice, Juvenile Justice Clinic, Public Defender Unit, where she represented minors at their detention hearings and negotiated pleas deals in Essex County Family Court. Sara was awarded the Kevin B. Kelly Distinguished Competitor Award as a member of Seton Hall Law’s Dispute Resolution Honor Society.

Sara has an extensive background in the sport of Figure Skating. As a member of the United States Figure Skating Team, she competed in the Grand Prix circuit, Olympic Trials, World Junior Championship, and medaled twice nationally, including winning a National title. As a professional skater, Sara enjoys giving back to her sport, and working with Special Olympians.
