Alissa Chang is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Insurance groups.
Prior to joining Bressler, Alissa worked as a commercial litigation and insurance associate representing clients in all stages of litigation for personal injury, environmental contamination, and complex construction defect cases. Alissa has worked closely with insureds, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators regarding the defense of claims brought against insureds resulting in positive outcomes, including dismissal and favorable settlements. Alissa has argued dispositive and discovery motions, negotiated settlements, and represented clients’ interests at hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Alissa has experience in conducting and defending party, witness, and expert depositions, and preparing clients for deposition.
Alissa now joins the Premium and Collection Litigation Group, representing insurance carriers and third party administrators on complex matters involving loss-sensitive insurance programs. Her extensive litigation experience and background in accounting has proven instrumental in case approach and strategy for resolution.
Alissa earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where she was a member of the VLS Tax Clinic and her B.S. in Accounting from The Wallace E. Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
