Bert H. Ware is a Principal and a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment group. He has more than 30 years of litigation, arbitration and regulatory experience having served both in private practice and in-house.
Bert focuses his practice on providing strategic and tactical advice and counsel to company executives and human resources professionals principally on employment-related issues. He counsels clients on litigation filed against employers in federal and state courts, and before arbitral panels. He defends single and multi-party lawsuits and serves as a strategic and legal advisor and counsel, providing tactical and strategic human resources and employment-related advice and guidance to the Firm’s clients.
Prior to joining Bressler, Bert served as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Vice President for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He managed the defense of all single- and multiple-party employment-related litigation filed in federal and state trial courts and before arbitral panels. Bert also served as global strategic legal advisor within the Employment Litigation team, advising the team on current and anticipated employment litigation risks.
Prior to his in-house roles, Bert worked in private practice for 11 years upon his graduation from New York University School of Law in 1985. He earned a B.A., cum laude, from Tufts University School of Arts & Sciences in 1981.
