Principal Jordan Weitberg will speak at the 2018 Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) on September 22, 2018 at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. ­Jordan will be a member of a panel entitled: “Fresh Fuel on a Roaring Fire: The Steady Expansion of Fiduciary Litigation.” The panel will survey changes that are contributing to the steady expansion of fiduciary litigation, and review related recent case studies, including in the areas of elder financial abuse and the aging population, expanding tort claims, standing and fees, innovative statutory trust laws such as decanting and directed trusts, volatile tax laws, trust generational transitions, and other societal and technological changes.
