Laura Ruiz Rivera is an associate in the firm’s Securities practice group.
Laura focuses her practice on FINRA arbitration matters involving Puerto Rico municipal bonds and closed-end bond funds. Fluent in Spanish, Laura also works on cases with legal counsel in countries such as Argentina and Mexico.
Laura previously worked as an associate at McConnell Valdés, LLC, the largest law firm in Puerto Rico, where she helped defend clients in litigation and FINRA arbitration matters.
Laura earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and her B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
