New York, N.Y. – September 13, 2016 – The law firm of Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. announced today that Tobias F. Ziegler has joined the firm as a Principal in its Corporate Practice.

Mr. Ziegler has law degrees earned in his native Germany, in France and the U.S and he speaks German, French, English and Spanish – giving him an in-depth understanding of international law and languages. His international client base includes entities and entrepreneurs throughout Europe, including the UK, Germany, France and Spain as well as Asia, Latin America and the U.S.

At Bressler, where he was an associate earlier in his career, Mr. Ziegler will help continue growing its Corporate Practice. He will focus on advising international clients entering the U.S. market and doing business here. Mr. Ziegler was most recently counsel at Gallet Dreyer & Berkey, LLP, heading its international business practice. He is resident in Bressler's New York office.

Mr. Ziegler represents international and U.S. entities and individuals regarding a range of business and commercial transactions. His extensive knowledge includes advising on the formation of companies, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, asset purchases, partnership and co-operation agreements, commercial contracts of all types, real estate and financing transactions, taxation and U.S. work visas for international business executives. He also has substantial experience handling licensing and intellectual property matters. Additionally, Mr. Ziegler counsels tech, IT, software companies and startups.

Mr. Ziegler is a member and frequent speaker at meetings of EuroJuris International, one of the largest international lawyer network groups with members in over 50 countries. He is the author of numerous articles on U.S. and international business law.

He earned an LL.M. in German law from the University of Cologne Law School in Germany in 2001, a Maitrise degree (J.D. equivalent) in French law from the Sorbonne University Paris I, Law School in 2003 in Paris, a Master's in International Law from Montpellier University Law School in France in 2004, and attended the University of Florida, its Levin College of Law and New York Law School. He passed the New York Bar exam in 2008.

Mr. Ziegler has also worked in Paris at Jones Day, Orrick and the Permanent Mission of Germany to the OECD.
