Overview
Joseph Cottingham is an associate in the firm's Corporate and Commercial Transactions group. He represents businesses in a variety of commercial transactions and assists clients with the drafting, negotiation, and performance of contracts on a multitude of topics.
Joseph received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Joseph served on the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board and as the Senior Writing Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review. During law school, Joseph clerked for Justice Boggs of the Supreme Court of Georgia and for Judge Goger of the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia. He also worked in the University of Miami Health Rights Clinics, where he assisted clients with a variety of social security, disability, and immigration issues. Joseph completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated as a Buckley Public Service Scholar.
Prior to joining Bressler, Joseph was an associate at a multi-practice law firm in Florida.
