Katherine Curtis is an associate in the Financial Institutions Practice Group, focusing on securities arbitration.
Katie focuses her practice on the representation of registered representatives, broker-dealers, and other financial firms in customer arbitrations, expungement proceedings, and regulatory inquiries before FINRA.
In addition to her securities practice, Katherine’s pro bono work includes advocating on behalf of victims of domestic violence, as well as providing legal aid to New York area artists and theatre organizations.
As an alumna of the firm's summer law clerk program, Katie joined the firm upon receiving her J.D. from Rutgers Law School.
While at Rutgers, Katie was a Managing Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal, in which her note, “A Wiki Weapon Solution: Firearm Regulation for the Management of 3D Printing in the American Household” was published. Also while in law school, Katherine interned at the Northampton County Solicitor’s Office in Easton, PA.
Katie received her Bachelor’s degree in Music and Psychology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

Get to Know Katie
Katie has been a member of Screen Actors’ Guild since 1991 and Actor’s Equity since 2009. After studying classical vocal performance and opera at UNC – Chapel Hill, she continues to perform musical theatre in her free time, recently appearing as Sally Bowles in Afterwork Theater’s production of Cabaret and the Baker’s Wife in Rooftop Musical Society’s production of Into the Woods.
