Overview

Ronald Campione is a principal in Bressler’s Business Litigation practice representing businesses of all sizes in litigation, complex negotiation, arbitration (U.S. and International), mediation, transactions and counseling.  Ron has represented business clients with legal issues, and assisted them with preventing legal issues, for more than 20 years.  He has extensive experience in the courtroom, before regulatory boards, before arbitration tribunals, pre-trial litigation practice, transactional work and negotiations.  He has been, and continues to be, lead counsel for clients in state and federal courts at trial and appellate levels and in U.S. and International arbitrations with the AAA, ICC and UNCITRAL rules.  With this experience, Ron has helped clients in many circumstances, including:

  • Consultation and development of strategies to avoid formal disputes
  • Advice on best practices that may cure problems before they happen
  • Transactional matters, including dealership buy-sells
  • Lawsuits for damages, injunctive relief and/or declaratory judgment

In addition to his career in the civilian legal profession, Ron serves in the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate.

Experience

  • Successfully defended a software manufacturer in an infringement case before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court
  • Represented an international product distributor in a matter alleging trademark infringement
  • Successfully represented subcontractors in HOA action against General Contractor alleging defective workmanship.
  • Experience representing Fiduciaries in Probate litigation
  • Represented individuals and companies in internal and external business disputes including shareholders derivative actions, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of duty of loyalty, violations of restrictive covenants, fraud, RICO, Antitrust, Unfair Trade and various business laws
  • Defended dozens of businesses in the largest automobile dealer class action filed in New Jersey, alleging violations of New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, and successfully obtained dismissal for several clients
  • Represented parties in numerous arbitrations in the United States applying AAA rules (general and specific) in matters involving construction law, trademark, franchise agreements and commercial contracts.
  • Represented numerous parties in International Arbitrations involving a broad range of laws (U.S. and Foreign) in franchise, trademark, and commercial contract matters. Experienced with AAA, ICC and UNCITRAL rules.
  • Defended businesses in consumer class action obtaining partial dismissal of the Complaint
  • Successfully barred an expert witness from testifying in a products liability matter resulting in an entry of summary judgment for an international manufacturer of materials handling equipment
  • Represented companies in products liability, asbestos, silicosis and other toxic tort matters.
  • Represented companies and individuals in numerous trials, arbitrations, and appellate review.
