Bressler attorneys and paralegals from volunteered at a Veterans’ Legal Wellness Clinic sponsored by the firm’s client, BASF Corporation, and under the direction of the non-profit organization Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ). The clinic was held at the Veterans Administration Hospital in East Orange, NJ on February 22, 2018. Bressler and the Legal Department at BASF have committed to staff the Legal Wellness clinics on a quarterly basis throughout 2018. Volunteers tackle issues such as driver’s license restoration, child support, criminal expungements, landlord tenant disputes and other issues impacting veterans as they return to civilian life. Additional clinics will be held in during the months of May, August and November 2018.
