Speaking Engagement
12.1.2021-12.2.2022

On December 1, 2021, Kim Larsen spoke at the 2021 Aspen Artificial Intelligence Berlin Conference, hosted by Aspen Institute Germany. Kim spoke alongside Prof. Joanna Bryson, Professor of Ethics and Technology at Hertie School, after opening remarks, to 'set the scene' before panel discussions begun.

This annual event brings together policymakers, innovators, philosophers, academics, and representatives from business, media, and civil society from across the world for discussion formats including keynotes, two-on-one conversations and panel discussions.

The overarching questions of this year's conference were:

  • How can we make our societies more resilient?
  • How can the resilience of complex socio-technical and socio-economic systems – also across borders – be supported?
  • What role can artificial intelligence play in this?
