What You'll Do:

Securities Paralegal

The paralegal in this practice group supports Principals and Associates in securities-related arbitration, mediation, and court case matters.

Essential Duties

  • Performing legal research.
  • Gathering and analyzing of documents.
  • Prepare and file state registration documents
  • Assist with arbitration/trial scheduling and preparation.
  • Prepare and file SEC documents.
  • Manage substantial caseload.
  • Interact with firm personnel, outside counsel, and external vendors.
  • Drafting documents, correspondence, and summaries.
  • Preparing deposition and trial exhibits.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education

  • 3 years’ experience in litigation or the securities industry required.
  • Securities arbitration/litigation experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state securities law, SEC and FINRA.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with document management systems is desirable.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A minimum of a 4-year college degree or relevant work equivalent.

Salary Commensurate With Experience And Qualifications.

Annual Salary: $60-70,000
