Jones to Co-Chair Litigation Section’s Young Lawyer Leadership Program

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (August 1, 2023) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that Alabama Office Managing Principal, Josh Jones, was appointed as Co-Chair for the Young Lawyer Leadership Program (YLLP) of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Litigation Section. The ABA's Litigation Section provides litigators of all practice areas with the resources to become successful and experienced advocates. The Section provides networking and career advancement opportunities and a portfolio of professional and business development products. The YLLP offers opportunities for young lawyers to become actively involved in the ABA's Litigation Section's meetings, committees, and activities.

Jones has been active in leadership of the Section for more than ten years. He most recently served as Co-Chair of the ABA's Litigation Section's Audio Content Committee, which manages the development and production of the Section's monthly podcast, Litigation Radio.

Jones is the Managing Principal of Bressler's Alabama office and a leader within the firm's Financial Institution practice group. He is also Co-Chair of the Senior and Vulnerable Investor practice group, whose lawyers provide advisory solutions and litigation support for investment advisers, broker-dealers, and other financial institutions confronting senior and vulnerable investor issues. In addition to his practice, Jones focuses his pro bono efforts on veterans’ issues, including volunteering with the ABA Military Pro Bono Project, Operation Stand-By, and the Veterans' Claims Assistance Network. 

Jones has been included among the list of Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers® lists of Rising Stars and Mid-South Super Lawyers. Admitted to practice in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee, Jones is a cum laude graduate from Washington and Lee University School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama.
