Florham Park, New Jersey (October 25, 2023) – Bressler, Amery & Ross is pleased to announce that Principal MaryJane (MJ) Dobbs has been reappointed to the Trucking Industry Defense Association’s (TIDA) Board of Directors. TIDA is a nonprofit association with members devoted to sharing knowledge and resources for the defense of the trucking industry.

“I’m honored to remain on the Board of Directors and help further the organization’s mission to share knowledge, resources, and strategies to reduce litigation against the trucking industry,” said Dobbs.

Dobbs is a Principal at Bressler, concentrating her practice on personal injury defense, employment law, and commercial litigation. Having practiced law for over 30 years, Dobbs has honed her litigation skills by representing insurance carriers and other companies in their claims involving automobile negligence, personal injury cases, commercial disputes, criminal cases, and a wide range of employment matters. She routinely handles multi-million-dollar litigation for transportation companies.

Dobb's legal recognitions include the Best Lawyers in America list since 2015 and twice as the Best Lawyers in America "Lawyer of the Year" in the "Litigation - Labor and Employment" category. Dobbs received this recognition in 2024 and 2021, awarded to individual attorneys with the highest overall feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region.

Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Dobbs received her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Dayton, Ohio.

Founded in 1993, TIDA has become the organization of choice for over 1,600 motor carriers, trucking insurers, defense attorneys and claims servicing companies. The organization is committed to reducing the cost of claims and lawsuits against the trucking industry. Members work to develop strategies and share knowledge to defend the trucking industry in personal injury, property damage, workers' compensation, and cargo claims. TIDA members advocate on behalf of the industry’s interests.
