MIAMI, FL (June 2022)Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of six new insurance litigation attorneys to the firm's Florida offices, strengthening its insurance defense litigation practice in the region. These incoming associates are a diverse group of attorneys offering unique backgrounds, skills, and experiences to help enhance the firm's core capabilities throughout the state. The additions are part of the firm's ongoing national growth, dedication to developing new attorneys, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Zelinger, Miami office managing principal and co-lead of the firm's First Party Property Insurance Defense practice. "They each bring a unique perspective to our already skilled team of insurance defense and litigation attorneys."

The firm's Florida practice boasts 29 attorneys in three offices: Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Birmingham, Alabama. The group focuses on all litigation issues, including pre-suit insurance matters and trial work throughout Florida.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Anthony Calenzo, Insurance Litigation: Calenzo joins the firm as an associate in the insurance litigation group in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Before joining Bressler, Calenzo worked for a multi-practice law firm in Florida, where he focused his practice on first party property insurance defense. Anthony received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from St. John's University in Sports Management. While in law school, Calenzo was a member of the International Law Students Association, Criminal Law Society, Federalist Society, and Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society.

Kristen Calzadilla, Insurance Litigation: Calzadilla joins the firm as an associate in the insurance litigation group in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Before joining Bressler, Calzadilla worked as a law clerk at a Florida law firm in the Banking and Finance Department, where she drafted correspondence advising consumer protection in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. She received her J.D. from University of Miami (UM) School of Law. While in law school, Calzadilla was an articles & casenote editor for the UM Race & Social Justice Law Review. She also received her B.A. in History from the University of Miami.

Mallorie Milord, Insurance Litigation: Milord joins the firm as an associate in the insurance litigation group in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Before joining Bressler, Milord was an associate at a law firm where she focused her practice in insurance defense litigation, specializing in workers’ compensation. She also worked as a contract attorney developing and assessing contracts, terms and conditions, and commercial documents. Milord earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, and received her B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from Florida International University.

Jason Sausner, Insurance Litigation: Sausner joins the firm as an associate in the insurance litigation group in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Before joining Bressler, Sausner was an associate at a law firm where he focused his practice in insurance defense litigation. He earned his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. He received his B.B.A. in Finance from Temple University, Fox School of Business and Management.

Miami, Florida

Adam R. Rivera, Insurance Litigation: Rivera joins the firm as an associate in the insurance litigation group in the firm’s Miami office. Before joining Bressler, Rivera was an associate general counsel at a property and casualty insurance company where he focused his practice on coverage disputes, breach of contract claims, and declaratory actions. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from University of Miami Law School, and received his B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Florida. While in law school, Rivera served as the staff editor of UM’s Race and Social Justice Law Review.

Chafic Wahab, Insurance Litigation: Wahab joins the firm as an associate in the insurance litigation group in the firm’s Miami office. As a first-generation American of Lebanese-Druze and Venezuelan descent, Wahab’s cultural background is as diverse as his legal experience prior to joining Bressler —from representing plaintiffs in various, high-profile multidistrict litigation proceedings to managing the law office at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Wahab earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, and his B.A. from The George Washington University, Elliott School of International Affairs.
