Florham Park, NJ (July 2021)Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is proud to announce that Firm Managing Principal Diana C. Manning has been named President Elect of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA). Her term officially began on July 1, 2021.

The association, based in Nutley, NJ, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2021 and has grown to more than 1,000 members. NJWLA engages in statewide efforts to support and promote its members to the highest levels of law firm, government, academic, community, corporate and judicial positions. It fosters leadership among its members, creates task forces to study and advise the membership on developments affecting the legal status of women and gender equity in the profession, and it provides educational programming and networking events for members and guests.

Manning is honored to be elected as President Elect of the Association. “I look forward to continuing the mission of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. It is an organization that strives to enable women to  take leadership roles and increase the opportunity to grow their business,” said Manning. “It is a significant aspect of this organization to provide women with the tools needed to reach their goals. There is much work to be done to advance and retain women in the legal profession so that we may accomplish gender equality.”

Manning, a certified civil trial attorney, was elected to lead Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. in 2021. She is the first female managing principal of the firm. She has also served as chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative Committee. Manning is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Board of Trustees. She is also a past president of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, Morris County Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Foundation. She served on the District XA Ethics Committee for 10 years and was appointed Chair by the New Jersey Supreme Court from 2017-2019.
