FLORHAM PARK, NJ (Dec. 11, 2025) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is proud to announce that firm principal Diana C. Manning will receive the Presidential Award at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) 2025 Board of Trustees Celebration and Awards Ceremony. This honor recognizes her outstanding contributions to the Association and the legal profession in New Jersey.

Manning is being honored for her leadership in advocating for the Supreme Court of New Jersey to reconsider ACPE Opinion 745. This significant effort ultimately led to the Court permitting out-of-state referral fees for certified attorneys. Her work showcases how the NJSBA utilizes its voice to support its members and advance the profession. Certified attorneys across the state have benefited greatly from the Supreme Court’s reversal of this Opinion.

In addition, Manning’s ongoing dedication to the NJSBA’s amicus curiae efforts, most recently through her contributions in Anchor Law Firm v. State of New Jersey, demonstrates her commitment to enhancing the practice of law and advocating for the interests of attorneys statewide. Her willingness to share her time, experience, and expertise has had a meaningful and lasting impact on the Association’s initiatives.

Manning was the first female managing principal at Bressler. She is certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey and leads the firm’s practice groups in appellate law, business and commercial litigation, legal ethics, and compliance. Additionally, she has been appointed to the Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Manning is also a former Chair of the District XA Ethics Committee, where she served for ten years, and has held leadership positions as the past President of several organizations, including the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, the Morris County Bar Association, and the Morris County Bar Foundation.

In addition to the NJSBA Presidential Award, Manning’s distinguished career has earned her recognition from various professional and legal organizations. In 2024, she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Rutgers School of Law-Newark Alumni Association. Her accolades also include the Trial Bar Award from the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, the Civil Practice Award from both the Essex County and Morris County Bar Associations, and she is a three-time recipient of the Professional Lawyer of the Year Award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.

She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, having earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and her B.A. from Rutgers College.

The 2025 Board of Trustees Celebration and Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 18, at the New Jersey Law Center, where colleagues and leaders from both the bench and bar will gather to celebrate a year of collaboration, advocacy, and service.
