MIAMI, Fla. (May 2022)Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. Principal Sara Soto has been appointed to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s (FINRA) National Arbitration and Mediation Committee (NAMC) for a three-year term beginning in June 2022. Soto will serve as one of the six industry members of the Committee.

FINRA maintains the largest arbitration and mediation forum for the resolution of securities disputes in the United States. The NAMC recommends rules, regulations, procedures and amendments relating to arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution matters to FINRA’s Board of Governors. The NAMC also makes recommendations regarding recruitment, qualifications, training and evaluation of arbitrators and mediators. 

For 35 years, Soto has represented broker-dealers and associated persons in FINRA arbitrations and mediations involving customers, employees, and other members. She is committed to using her extensive experience to continue to carry out the NAMC’s important role in the arbitration and mediation process.
