Florham Park, NJ (October 2022) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that firm managing principal Diana C. Manning has been honored by the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ) with the Trial Bar Award. Manning was presented with the Award at the 54th Annual Trial Bar Awards on October 13, 2022. She is one of only four attorneys to receive the honor in 2022.
“As a former president of the organization, I know full well the important work TANJ does for the New Jersey legal community”, said Manning. “This Award is one the highest achievements for a trial attorney and has been presented to many of the greats in this State. This is particularly true for this year’s awardees and it is a privilege and an honor to be included among them and with all the prior recipients.”
This Award is the latest in a long list of honors Manning has garnered. In 2022 alone, she received the Civil Practice Achievement Award from the Essex County Bar Association and was included in the lists of Best Lawyers in America®, NJBIZ Power 50 in Law, ROI-NJ Influencers in Law, Super Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers in New Jersey, Super Lawyers Top 50 Women Lawyers in New Jersey, New Jersey Super Lawyers, and Morris Essex Health & Life Magazine’s Morris County’s Top Lawyers. Manning was also one of three finalists for New Jersey Law Journal’s 2022 Attorney of the Year.
In April 2021, Manning became Bressler's first female firm managing principal. Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, Manning has developed a successful track record of trial verdicts and settlements, especially in complex matters. She is a distinguished trial and appellate lawyer who has participated in six matters before the New Jersey Supreme Court, including four arguments. She also provides attorneys and law firms of all sizes with ethics and compliance advice.
TANJ is the voice and resource for New Jersey’s trial lawyers. The organization consists of approximately 600 members, including both plaintiff and defense attorneys from the civil and criminal bars. It is dedicated to promoting the interests of the public at large, the litigants involved in civil and criminal cases, and the bench and bar.
