Bressler Principal Karen Murphy has been elected as a new trustee to the Partners for Women and Justice. Karen practices environmental law representing clients on regulatory, compliance, litigation, transactional and redevelopment issues.  She has served on the steering committee for Brownfield Development Areas in New Jersey and regularly appears before the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, the U.S. EPA and municipal zoning and planning boards.  Karen has also volunteered as a pro bono attorney for Partners’ and represented victims of domestic violence at final restraining order hearings.

Partners for Women and Justice is a non-profit organization that empowers low-income victims and survivors of domestic violence to build safe and secure futures for themselves and their children by providing equal access to justice. Partners’ programs help secure restraining orders, safe visitation and custody arrangements and fair orders of child support.
