Overview

Christina Roye is an associate in the Firm’s Insurance Defense group. In her prior position, Christina  served as in-house counsel for a major property & casualty insurance company in Miami, Florida. Her experience includes litigating and successfully representing the insurance company against property insurance cases.  She also handled all aspects of litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, managing the discovery process, conducting legal research and depositions, negotiating settlements, and handling all facets of jury trials.  As counsel, Christina also drafted, interpreted, and negotiated contracts.  Her goal in every case is to obtain the most favorable, cost-efficient resolution for her clients.  

Christina obtained her J.D. from the St. Thomas University Law School, where she was a member of the St. Thomas Trial Team, the Journal of Complex Litigation, and the Black Law Students Association. She earned a Bachelor of Science, cum  laude, in Business Administration, from the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. Christina was a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority, and the Alpha Kapp Psi Professional Business Fraternity.
