Overview
Katherine Fennelly is an associate in the firm’s Insurance & Healthcare Regulatory Compliance and Transactional Practice Group. She focuses her practice on regulatory and compliance matters affecting insurers and brokers in the property and casualty, and life and health insurance sectors.
Katherine is an alumna of Bressler’s 2023 Summer Associate program. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law. While at Seton Hall, she served as an Associate Editor for the Seton Hall Law Review and as a Student Advocate in the FINRA Investor Advocacy Program. Katherine was also actively involved in the Corporate Law Society and served as a Legal Extern in FINRA’s Department of Enforcement.
Following law school, Katherine served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Gilson, P.J.A.D., New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. In her role, she conducted in-depth research on complex legal issues, performed detailed case analysis, and assisted in drafting judicial opinions.

Before attending law school, Katherine spent three years working as a special education teacher for seventh- and eighth-grade students in the Bronx. In her free time, she enjoys training for marathons.
