Principal Eric Chase has authored his yearly “Top Twenty Legal Trends for Automobile Dealers” as well as his “2020 Legal Audit Checklist for Auto Dealers”, both providing useful and practical commentary for the industry. Eric devotes a significant part of his practice to the representation of franchised automotive dealers nationwide, and he has been lead counsel in numerous landmark decisions. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Dealer Counsel, an organization composed mainly of attorneys who represent dealers. He advises state associations and contributes to their efforts in the development of state industry laws that promote fairness for franchisees. A prolific writer, Eric has published dozens of articles on automotive subjects for established trade publications such as Automotive News, Auto Age, Automobile Executive, Dealers Edge, as well as other periodicals.
