Brian Ellis was quoted in the Press of Atlantic City article, " Businesses high on the future of medical marijuana at A.C. convention” on September 15, 2019.

The article covered the NJCANN—a two-day convention considered the be the “largest gathering of New Jersey’s medical marijuana industry professionals.”

Brian Ellis, an attorney and member of the Cannabis law group with Bressler, Amery & Ross, in Florham Park, NJ, cites his realization of the potential for transitioning into Cannabis law. “We just found our firm’s history and this industry a good overlap[.]” “New Jersey is at a crossroads. The whole Northeast is at a crossroads. There’s a lot energy.”

The article goes on to mention that while NJ has not yet voted on its bill to legalize marijuana, medical marijuana is expanding. Ellis believes that recreational use can begin to grow, but will require more education. “That’s why we’re here,” he said. “It’s exciting. I like that it’s happening.”
