On Thursday, August 19, 2021, Bressler's Brian Ellis and Fred Schoenbrodt, along with Christopher Street Financial's Jamie McGill, will co-present a live podcast in partnership with West LegalEdcenter and Celesq. Their program, titled Financial Planning for LGBTQ Families, is part of Bressler's "Raising the Bar" podcast series.
Brian, a litigator, and Jamie, a financial advisor, are lifelong friends and former college roommates. During this program, Brian and Jamie will reminisce on their friendship prior to and after Jamie’s coming out, and will address the evolving legal landscape facing the LGBTQ+ community. Fred Schoenbrodt, Bressler’s Trusts & Estates Practice Area Leader, will also join Brian and Jamie to discuss personal, financial, and estate planning, and will review important considerations for LGBTQ+ individuals and families.
