About the Program:
The presentation will address the scope and practical application of ABA Model Rule 8.4(g) in the context of attorney conduct involving prohibited forms of discrimination and harassment. Specifically, the program will examine the differences among states that have adopted formulations of Model Rule 8.4(g), identify specific conduct that is prohibited under the Rule, and discuss the relevance of addressing discrimination and harassment in connection with professional conduct. The program also highlights several examples of attorney conduct found to violate Rule 8.4(g) across an array of jurisdictions, as well as the quantum of discipline that is imposed.
