Frederick Schoenbrodt will speak on "Valuation and Marshalling of Assets and Marital Matters in Probate" at the NBI Seminar, Probate Boot Camp on December 16, 2015 in Newark.
Fred will discuss handling hard-to-value assets in an estate, including closely-held business interests, the rules regarding the use of alternate valuation in an estate, and the portability of a deceased spouse's unused exclusion (DSUE) under federal tax law.
