Miami – July 16, 2019 -- Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. announced today the addition of three new attorneys to its roster, further rounding out its growing Insurance Defense practice in Florida. Rafael Diaz (Fort Lauderdale), Austin Flickstein (Miami), and Alisha Wilson (Fort Lauderdale) have joined the firm’s Insurance practice group.
Mr. Diaz has previously worked for several South Florida law firms. Mr. Flickstein and Ms. Wilson both joined Bressler from Heritage Property and Casualty Insurance Company in Sunrise, FL, where they served as staff counsel.

Rafael A. Diaz
Mr. Diaz joins the firm as an Associate and brings eight years of extensive experience in insurance law. Prior to joining the firm, he was a lead litigator at another Miami law firm gaining valuable management, litigation, and trial experience supplementing his prior experience at several south Florida firms as a litigation associate. Mr. Diaz received a J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University School of Law in 2011, and a B.S. in Psychology from FSU in 2006.
Austin Flickstein
Mr. Flickstein joins the firm as an Associate. Before working at Heritage Property and Casualty, he was an attorney at two South Florida law firms, and also was an Assistant State Attorney in the State Attorney’s Office in Miami. Mr. Flickstein brings strong background and practice as a coverage and litigation attorney with experience handling and litigation a variety of claims. He received a J.D. in 2011 from University of Miami School of Law and a B.S. in Public Relations in 2008 from the University of Florida.
Alisha Wilson
Ms. Wilson joins the firm as an Associate and brings with her nearly 10 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry. Prior to her time at Heritage Property and Casualty, Ms. Wilson was an attorney at two South Florida law firms and before that, worked in claims and as a litigation specialist at insurance companies in Oklahoma, Texas, Florida and New York. She received a J.D. in 2010 from Oklahoma City University School of Law in Oklahoma City, OK, and a B.A. in Business Administration, Marketing, in 2002 from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX.
