Texas Expansion Continues as the Firm Meets Growing Client Demand

DALLAS (January 2022)Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that Ronak V. Patel has joined the firm as a principal in Texas, strengthening its capabilities in the region. Located in Austin, Texas, Patel's addition will bolster the firm's market-leading financial institutions and complex litigation practice in the city, the broader Texas Triangle, and nationally.

Patel represents broker-dealers, investment advisers, private equity firms, hedge funds and other private funds, public companies, and other institutions in government investigations, securities law enforcement matters and related litigation. He also counsels clients on a range of fintech and cryptocurrency-related issues and regulatory best practices associated with the novel technology.  Patel joins Bressler from Winstead, where he was Co-Chair of the Securities Litigation & Enforcement Practice Group.

Patel has served as lead counsel in several high-profile investigations involving Ponzi fraud schemes, broker misconduct, complex investment products, and alleged breaches of fiduciary duties. In addition, he works closely with state and federal securities regulators across the country and has held numerous leadership positions with the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA).

Patel holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and a law degree from Baylor Law School.
