Birmingham, Ala. (April 23, 2024) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ) has selected Counsel Laura Pizzitola as a 2024 NextGen Birmingham honoree in the Law category. Pizzitola will be featured in the June 28 edition of the BBJ.
The BBJ’s NextGen award program is designed to recognize young leaders under 40 in the metro Birmingham area. Honorees are chosen based on their contributions to their companies, their role in the industry, the likelihood of them becoming key leaders in their field, and their role in the community, among other factors.
“This recognition is very well-deserved, and we are thrilled to see Laura’s hard work recognized and spotlighted,” said Josh D. Jones, who leads Bressler’s Financial Institutions practice in Alabama. “Laura exemplifies Bressler’s core values and is a wonderful example to our newer attorneys. We look forward to seeing her continue succeeding and growing in her practice and the legal community.”
Pizzitola is Counsel in the firm’s securities practice group, and she focuses her practice on representing financial companies in litigation and arbitration proceedings. She is involved with the Women Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association and Securities Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association Litigation Section. She earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude and her law degree from the University of Alabama.
