Overview
Rodney Nelson is an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation; Financial Institutions/Securities; Matrimonial and Cannabis practice area(s). He also assists in the Corporate and Commercial Transactions practice group, where he uses his strong research and analytical skills. One of Rodney's unique talents as an attorney is his ability to work closely with clients to develop creative solutions to drive progress. He is also developing a reputation as a strategic, thoughtful, and fearless advocate for all clients, no matter how big or small.
Rodney’s experience has spanned nearly all facets of litigation, including general commercial, matrimonial, bankruptcy, regulatory, securities, environmental and municipal. Rodney strives to be a "lawyer's lawyer" who is valued for his critical thinking and analytical ability.
Prior to joining Bressler, Rodney worked as a judicial extern for Justice Abbi Silver in the Nevada State Supreme Court. As a student-attorney, Rodney worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Enforcement Division, through the SEC Honors Program.
Rodney received his B.S. in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018, graduating cum laude, and he received his J.D. from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 2021.
While earning his B.S., Rodney worked as a Retail Store Manager, and he volunteered in the community by helping underprivileged youth.
