Overview
Victoria Ashworth is Counsel in the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Transactions Practice Group. With over 20 years of experience, Victoria is a mission-aligned legal executive, providing pragmatic, solution-oriented guidance to executive leadership in the context of strategy, transactions, disputes, investigations, and compliance in the United States, and across Europe and Asia.
Prior to joining Bressler, Victoria was General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer for a fintech startup. In her role, she advised on and negotiated all manner of commercial/contractual matters including – corporate acquisitions (M&A), BaaS/SaaS and other licensing agreements, intellectual property, fundraising management, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, employment/consultancy/vendor contracts, tenancy agreements, and more. Victoria is a regulatory compliance specialist and also has extensive experience in dispute resolution.
Victoria earned her J.D. cum laude from The George Washington University Law School, an LL.M from the University of Hong Kong, and her B.A. cum laude from Colgate University. During her career, she has expanded on her legal education by earning a Diploma in International Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and completing the Oxford Fintech Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and the Artificial Intelligence for Leaders Post Graduate Program from McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin.
