Zachary M. Rosenberg

Zach Rosenberg is a Principal in the firm's Real Estate practice group, committed to helping clients achieve their business goals through pragmatic, deal-focused legal counsel across the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions.

Zach has extensive experience representing financial institutions in connection with construction loans, mortgage loans, permanent financings, bridge loans, and other commercial lending transactions throughout the United States, with deep knowledge of the New Jersey and New York markets. He also counsels property owners, developers, investors, and businesses in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing across all asset classes, including mixed-use, multifamily, office, retail, and industrial properties. Beyond the deal itself, Zach regularly advises clients on corporate formation and structuring in connection with their real estate investments.

Experience

• Represented bank in $103 million construction loan to prominent real estate developer for multifamily apartment complex in Morris County, New Jersey.
• Represented lender in $66 million refinance of industrial park in Houston, Texas.
• Advised real estate developer in the acquisition and construction financing of a 115-unit multifamily building in Essex County, New Jersey.
• Represented bank in $30 million construction loan to publicly traded cannabis company for the development of a manufacturing facility in Virginia.
• Negotiated ground lease on behalf of developer in connection with multifamily apartment complex on the Camden waterfront.
• Served as counsel to financial institution in $36 million loan to purchaser of a skilled nursing facility in Georgia.
• Represented bank in $16 million acquisition loan to purchaser of amusement park in Ocean County, New Jersey.
• Represented property owner in connection with $7 million disposition of Manhattan gas station.
• Negotiated and drafted lease agreements for regional restaurant chain franchisees at multiple locations throughout New Jersey.
• Represented alternative investment firm in $14 million sale of commercial office loan portfolio.
• Served as New York counsel to Mexican lending institution in multiple financing transactions involving the acquisition of commercial properties in New York.
