Rachael M. Segal, along with five others, authored "Legislative Archeology: 'It's not What You Find, It's What You Find Out.'", while finishing law school. The article discusses pre-introduction newspaper accounts as well as other extrinsic sources and how they can be of critical importance to courts, legislatures, and others seeking to determine the meaning of ambiguous statutes.
