Attorney Recognized in the Unsung Hero Category of New Jersey Legal Awards

Florham Park, New Jersey (August 1, 2023) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that the New Jersey Law Journal (NJLJ) has named attorney Pauline Tarife a 2023 Professional Excellence Honoree in the “Unsung Hero” category. The “Unsung Hero” honor is a part of the NJLJ’s 2023 New Jersey Legal Awards. It recognizes individuals indispensable to a firm’s success, often working long hours behind the scenes. Pauline was selected for this award based on her exemplary work ethic and contributions to Bressler, the local community, and the broader legal profession.

"Pauline is a thoughtful, intelligent, and well-respected attorney at Bressler," said Principal Loren Pierce, who oversees much of Tarife's casework and training. "She has already cultivated a reputation for reliability and excellence in five short years of practice. As a devoted advocate for victims of domestic abuse, a dependable associate and litigator, and a champion of inclusivity in the community, much of her work is often behind the scenes. I am proud to bring it to the forefront."

Tarife is an Associate in the Firm’s Business & Commercial Litigation group. She handles a variety of litigation matters with a focus on commercial and insurance coverage litigation in both state and federal courts. As part of her practice, Tarife has represented clients in multi-million-dollar construction litigation, complex commercial disputes, insurance coverage litigation, and international matters.

In addition to her practice, Tarife provides pro bono legal assistance to victims of domestic violence through Partners for Women and Justice. She is on the National Steering Committee for the Defense Research Institute’s Construction Law Group and volunteers for the NYC Bar Diversity Fellowship program, which enables law students from underrepresented populations to interview for summer associate roles in firms like Bressler.

"Pauline is a dedicated attorney whose commitment to the profession is demonstrated in countless ways,” said Bressler's Firm Managing Principal, Diana C. Manning. "Pauline's pro bono legal services, her passion for helping others, and her commitment to advancing diversity initiatives within the Firm and the broader profession make her an excellent candidate for this award."

Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, Tarife is a cum laude graduate from Rutgers Law School. She received her B.S. in Business with a minor in Women's and Gender Studies from The College of New Jersey, where she was also a Merit Scholar. Tarife will represent Bressler, Amery & Ross at the awards dinner on September 13, 2023 at Park Chateau Estate in East Brunswick, NJ.

This award is conferred by ALM Media Properties, LLC. A description of the selection methodology is available here.  No aspect of this advertisement has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
