Austin, TX. (April 28, 2025) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C., a full-service business law firm, has announced that Ronak Patel, a Principal and Securities Regulatory attorney, has been appointed to the firm's Management Committee. The Management Committee sets the strategic direction and oversees the management and operations of the firm. Patel joins current committee members Joshua D. Jones, Daniel Korb, Jr., Hope C. Zelinger, and Committee Chair Frederick K. Schoenbrodt, II.
Additionally, the firm has announced that Principal John Kincade has been named the managing principal of Bressler's Texas offices, which include locations in Dallas, Austin, and Houston. Kincade is taking over as Texas managing principal from Donald Littlefield, who is continuing his service in other firm leadership roles. Based in Dallas, Kincade is a prominent member of Bressler's Financial Institutions practice group.
These appointments are a key part of Bressler's long-term growth strategy in Texas and the Southwest, positioning the firm for continued success and excellence in client service nationwide. Over the past five years, Bressler has broadened its geographic presence and continually enhanced the range of services available to clients. The firm's services have expanded with a larger office in Austin, providing tailored expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, venture capital, and fund formation. Additionally, Bressler has recently opened an office in Oklahoma City.

Patel, based in Austin, is a leader in several practice groups including Financial Institutions, Commercial Litigation, and Financial Regulatory Compliance. He represents clients across Texas and nationwide in various complex litigation issues, focusing on securities regulatory and financial litigation matters. Patel has served as lead counsel in several high-profile investigations involving Ponzi fraud schemes, broker misconduct, complex investment products, and alleged breaches of fiduciary duties. Before entering private practice, he served as Deputy Securities Commissioner of Texas. He worked very closely with state and federal securities regulators across the country while holding leadership positions with the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA). While at NASAA, Patel earned many awards, including the Patricia D. Struck Award, the Outstanding Team Service Award (Dodd-Frank Studies Working Group), and the Outstanding Team Service Award (Auction Rate Securities Task Force). He currently serves as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association's (ABA) Litigation Section's SRO/State Regulatory Sub-Committee.
Kincade specializes in federal and state securities litigation, arbitration, and regulatory enforcement. He represents a diverse range of financial services clients, including banks, investment advisers, and brokers in FINRA arbitrations, court litigation, and regulatory enforcement proceedings, including SEC and state matters. His practice also covers financial and commercial litigation, fiduciary and trust litigation, and trade secrets and employment.
