Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 5, 2025) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce that Associate Attorney Kalie Maniglia has been elected as Secretary to the Southeastern Women in Financial Services (SWIFS) advisory board. Maniglia was elected at a board meeting on May 5th. Along with Maniglia, Bressler Counsel Katie Wilson remains on SWIFS’s Advisory Board where she will continue to serve as Co-Chair of the Education Committee.
Founded in 2016, SWIFS is a network of over 130 women attorneys working in the financial services space. SWIFS’s mission focuses on enriching the professional lives of its members through leadership education, networking with industry professionals, coaching, mentoring, continuing legal education, and supporting the financial education and economic security of women in the Southeast. The organization’s Advisory Board consists of accomplished professionals who provide strategic guidance, foster leadership and mentorship, and support initiatives that enhance financial education for women in the Southeast region.

Maniglia is part of the Fort Lauderdale office at Bressler and works in the Financial Institutions, Employment, Business and Commercial Litigation, and Senior and Vulnerable Investor Practice Group, which provides counsel to corporate clients on issues affecting seniors. She has experience handling cases from inception through discovery and trial. She represents clients in state and federal court litigation and in arbitrations involving a variety of civil claims alleging common law and statutory causes of action and has experience handling pre-litigation complaint investigation and resolution.
Maniglia is an alumnus of Bressler’s summer associate program. Before joining Bressler, she was a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Donald M. Middlebrooks at the United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida and served as a Law Clerk to the United States Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Florida. She received her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, cum laude, and received the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Economics, cum laude, with minors in Spanish and Communication Studies from the University of Florida Honors College in 2019.
