Florham Park, NJ (May 8, 2025) – Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is pleased to announce its General Counsel & Principal, Mark M. Tallmadge, will receive the National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award from the National Eagle Scout Association. He will be honored at the Eagle Scout Recognition & Reunion Dinner on Monday, May 19th at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge.

The National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) established the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA) to commemorate the Boy Scouts of America’s 100th Anniversary in 2010. The award is presented to Eagle Scouts who demonstrate remarkable achievements well beyond their Scouting endeavors by excelling in their careers/vocations at local, regional or national levels. NOESA recipients inspire others through their positive actions, demonstrating excellence in their chosen professions, hobbies, community service and adherence to religious beliefs.

Tallmadge focuses his practice on trial and appellate litigation involving commercial disputes, professional negligence, insurance coverage and insurance insolvency issues. He has been a featured speaker at the National Conference of Insurance Guaranty Funds and at the New Jersey State Bar Association and has presented to the Professional Liability Underwriting Society on legal malpractice and insurance insolvency issues.

Active in the legal community, Tallmadge is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and the American Bar Foundation and a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, the Defense Research Institute, the New Jersey Defense Association, and the National Conference of Insurance Guaranty Funds. He has served as Council Commissioner and as President of Patriots’ Path Council of Scouting America (formerly, Boy Scouts of America). He is included among Best Lawyers in America® and New Jersey Super Lawyers®.

Admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Illinois, Tallmadge received his J.D. and B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
