Overview
Audrey is an associate in the firm's Financial Institutions group, where she represents clients in the financial industry across a wide range of matters. Her work includes securities, arbitration, regulatory enforcement defense, and the defense of broker-dealers and other financial services professionals.
In addition to her legal practice, she is pursuing a master's degree in data science to enhance her understanding of the financial sector. This educational pursuit is not a career pivot for her; rather, it is a natural progression that reflects her belief that the future of financial services lies at the intersection of law, finance, and technology. By combining her legal knowledge with technical skills, Audrey aims to provide clients with a more comprehensive and effective approach to the complex issues facing today's financial institutions. She is also an alumnus of Bressler’s summer associate program.
Audrey earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she earned the Dean’s Leadership Award, an Excellence in Pro Bono and Community Service Certificate, two Certificates of Outstanding Merit, and the Book Award for the top overall score in several classes including Business Association, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and the Law, Trusts and Estates, and Trial Practice. At the same time, she also earned a M.S. in Food and Resources Economics with her thesis, The Social Cost of Invasive Species: The Case of Citrus Greening (received the 2024 Agricultural & Applied Economics Association Outstanding Master's Thesis Award Honorable Mention).
While in law school, she served as a certified legal intern for the 8th Judicial Circuit of Florida Public Defender’s Office, through the law school’s public defender field placement, and participated in a wrongful conviction clinic through the law school and in association with the Conviction Integrity Review, 4th Judicial Circuit of Florida State Attorney’s Office. She was also a member of the Tax Moot Court team. In November 2022, she was the winner and “Best Speaker Overall” of the XI Iberoamerican Tax Moot Court competition, an international competition that took place at the Universidade de São Paulo, in São Paulo, Brazil.
A Division 1 athlete in Women’s Tennis, then Cross-Country, Audrey earned dual degrees summa cum laude - a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology - from the University of South Florida. She is fluent in French and conversant in Spanish.
