Firm grows in Florham Park and Fort Lauderdale, and expands T&E practice in Alabama with the return of Ben Nye.

Florham Park, NJ (July 27, 2026) - Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. is proud to announce that three professionals have joined its Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense, and Tax, Trust & Estates groups. These new team members are based in Florham Park, Fort Lauderdale, and Birmingham.

These new hires reflect the firm’s strategic, client-focused growth. Bressler combines boutique practices and deep specialties within a full-service platform, ensuring each expansion aligns with market demand, and every expansion decision is made with that balance in mind.  The new hires strengthen key capabilities in markets where the firm sees strong opportunities to better serve clients.

“The future of Bressler will be shaped by the talent we welcome to our firm today.  Our new and returning attorneys bring fresh perspectives, strong skills, and a commitment to outstanding client service and advocacy.  I am very excited to see Ben Nye return to the firm to lead and grow our Private Client practice in Alabama,” said Frederick K. Schoenbrodt, II, Chair of the firm’s Management Committee and leader of the firm’s Private Client practice.

The new additions include:

Kristen Turiano joins the firm as a Principal in the Commercial Litigation practice group in Florham Park, where she will focus her practice in Business and Commercial Litigation and Insurance.  Turiano has more than a decade of experience successfully defending clients in complex litigation matters, including product liability, insurance coverage, and general liability disputes in both New Jersey and New York.

Prior to joining Bressler, Turiano served as Senior Counsel at Harris Beach Murtha Cullina PLLC, where she focused on mass torts, product liability, insurance coverage, and appellate matters.  She previously practiced at several regional and national law firms, representing clients in matters involving general liability, construction defects, and New York Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6).  Turiano earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and her B.A. from Georgetown University.

Benjamin Nye returns to the firm as Counsel in the Private Client practice group in Birmingham.  Nye will be charged with leading the firm’s Trust & Estates practice in Alabama.

Nye focuses his practice on developing and implementing thoughtfully considered and carefully constructed estate plans that reflect his clients’ priorities and provide for the family, friends, and organizations that are most important to them.  He will work closely with the Private Client group to provide advice and guidance on estate planning, probate and estate administration, trust administration, and individual and family philanthropy.  He will also use his prior substantial experience as a litigator in representing individual and corporate clients in trust and estate controversies, including will contests, fiduciary accounting actions, and guardianship actions.

Nye earned his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arkansas.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Ben back to Bressler. We are excited about the expansion of the firm’s Private Client group here in the Birmingham office. His skills, paired with his deep ties to this market and our firm, make him the perfect person to grow our T&E capabilities across Alabama,” said Josh Jones, Management Committee Member and Alabama Office Managing Principal. “His return reflects the strength of the relationships we build with our attorneys.”

Blake Miller joins the firm as an Associate in the Florida Insurance Defense group in Fort Lauderdale where he represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters with their insureds.  Prior to Bressler, Miller worked at Cole, Scott & Kissane, PA where he also focused his practice on Insurance Defense Litigation.

Miller earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, and his B.B.A. in Economics from the University of Miami.

Collectively, these additions emphasize Bressler’s commitment to forward-thinking and strategic growth. The firm has built its reputation by providing clients with both the focused expertise of a boutique and the resources of a full-service platform.
