Overview
Paola Toro is an Associate in the Environmental Law Group. She attended the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she served as a Board Member for the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic. Along with her JD, Paola earned a Certificate in Environmental Law, and attended a Study Abroad Program at the Brazil-American Institute for Law and Environment, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Paola has represented municipal and private clients before state and federal regulatory agencies on a wide range of environmental matters, including regulatory and compliance counseling, enforcement defense, site remediation, environmental litigation, and transactional due diligence. She also counsels clients regarding environmental liability under the Spill Act, CERCLA, RCRA and ISRA in connection with the acquisition and cleanup of contaminated property.
Paola is a member of the Environmental Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and a member of the Justice Stewart G. Pollock Environmental American Inn of Court.
