Overview

Patrick Medeo is an associate in the firm’s Financial Institutions Law practice group located in New Jersey. His practice focuses on matters pertaining to compliance, securities litigation and arbitrations, and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Bressler, Patrick served as a law clerk for Justice Jaynee LaVecchia of the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and The Honorable Jack M. Sabatino, P.J.A.D. of the New Jersey Superior Court: Appellate Division.

His previous experience includes working with the Anti-Money Laundering Alert Operations team at JP Morgan Chase & Co., and as an Options Exchange Official for Nasdaq, Inc. on both electronic and open outcry options exchanges.  During law school, Patrick interned for the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Student Honors Intern Program in the Enforcement Division, the Financial & Cyber Crimes Unit in the Office of the Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, and The Honorable Judge Robert B. Kugler of the District of New Jersey. 

He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Rutgers Law School.   While at Rutgers, Patrick was involved with the Center for Corporate Law and Governance through which he received a Certificate in Corporate and Business Law, and served as Research Assistant to a Distinguished Research Fellow. Prior to Law School, Patrick earned a B.S. in Business Administration & Legal Studies with a Certificate in Brand & Reputation Management from Drexel University.

While serving as a Legal Intern in Valencia Spain, Patrick earned Level B2 in Spanish (full professional proficiency) from the AIP Language Institute.
