Overview

Donnie Winningham is a litigator with Bressler's financial institutions and insurance practice groups, dedicating himself primarily to assisting clients in defense of claims brought by plaintiffs in civil litigation. His experience is wide-ranging, though some examples are contractual disputes, products liability and mass torts, toxic torts, business torts, and life insurance litigation. Donnie also concentrates on the defense of brokerage firms and other financial institutions against claims asserted by customers. Donnie represents clients in all manner of forums, including the state and federal courts of a number of states as well as in FINRA and AAA arbitration.

Once engaged in a matter, Donnie seeks to understand the client’s primary goals concerning the litigation. Armed with this information, Donnie is better able to advise the client about strategies and processes to employ to achieve those goals in a timely and efficient manner.

Donnie earned his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2006, where he was a staff writer for Washington and Lee Law Review. He received his B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2003.
